Locum Pharmacy Position in Laidley, QLD

This locum pharmacy position is available in a retail community pharmacy located in Laidley, QLD.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be required to work alongside another 1-2 pharmacist(s) and will have support from 2 dispensary technicians, 1-2 intern pharmacists, and 4 other shop staff using FRED Dispense Plus for a busy script trade.

The locum may need to check Webster's, however these are packed by technicians and machine packed. No methadone dispensing is involved in this role.

If the locum can dispense cannabis and vaccinate, these will also form part of their duties but are not essential.

Experience is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience with FRED Dispense Plus/FRED NXT (advantageous)
  • Ability to work in a busy pharmacy environment (advantageous)
  • Cannabis experience preferred but not essential
  • Vaccination experience preferred but not essential
Benefits:

Weekdays: $70/hr + Super

Weekends: $80/hr Saturday + Super

Extra: Travel - mileage $0.99 per km from Brisbane or similar

Accommodation: Can be offered for locums who work consecutive shifts
