Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate educator to join our school. The successful applicant will possess a deep understanding of current best practices in English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D), learning support, and inclusive education.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering evidence-based learning intervention programs and be committed to curriculum differentiation. Postgraduate qualifications in Special/Inclusive Education and/or EAL/D are highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in working with students who are English language learners, including New Arrivals, and has a strong track record of supporting students with additional learning needs. Experience in teaching National Standards Era-approved courses in Early Stage 1-3 is also essential.

The successful applicant will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with class teachers to plan and deliver effective learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement high-quality learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • To collaborate with class teachers to design and deliver effective learning programs
  • To provide targeted support to students who require additional assistance
  • To contribute to the development of inclusive education practices within the school

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special/Inclusive Education and/or EAL/D
  • Experience in delivering evidence-based learning intervention programs
  • Experience in working with students who are English language learners, including New Arrivals
  • Experience in teaching NESA-approved courses in Stages ES1-3
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
