The RoleWe are seeking a fully registered Psychologist (with AHPRA) to join our multidisciplinary team. Experience working with children is necessary for this role. Experience with autistic individuals is highly regarded. Endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology or Clinical would be highly regarded but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Provide counseling and formal psychology assessments to clients
- Conduct assessments using tools such as the ADOS-2, WISC-V, WIAT-III, etc.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to support clients' mental health and well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Full AHPRA registration
- Police check (or prepared to obtain this)
- Own public liability insurance
- Own ABN (or prepared to obtain this)
- Medicare provider number (or prepared to obtain this)
- Working With Children Check
- Current driver's license (highly desirable but not essential)
- Good interpersonal skills and a team spirit
- A friendly clinic that offers flexibility with hours
- Regular group supervision and individual supervision
- Full administrative support so you can focus on clinical care
- A friendly and supportive team environment
- A strong referral base
- Working alongside senior clinicians and opportunities for career development
