Job Description

As an Application Consultant in Patient Costing, you will work with our team of applications specialists to implement and support a powerful tool for healthcare settings.

Our Patient Costing Consultants are experts in the PowerPerformance Manager (PPM) product, which provides timely data to assist in management decision making.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing PPM solutions for clients
  • Conducting costing studies on behalf of clients
  • Refining client costing processes, understanding costing results and producing detailed reports
  • Providing product support to clients worldwide
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our applications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • An ability to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client focus
  • Proficiency with computer systems and an investigative nature

The following attributes would be highly valued:

  • Experience with Casemix and ABF
  • Knowledge of hospital finance processes
  • Understanding of Patient Costing Methodologies
  • Hospital or healthcare experience at any level
  • A degree in finance, economics, health management or a related field
  • Technical skills and experience working with SQL, JavaScript and MS SQL
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in Patient Costing Consulting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software
