About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Mental Health Clinician to join our Family Services Department at Latrobe City Council.

The successful candidate will work with parents, carers, and other early childhood and family support services to improve the health and wellbeing of children.

Key responsibilities include providing focused and intensive support for vulnerable families with young children who are identified as being at risk of poor outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Mental Health with current AHPRA or AASW registration.

You will also have extensive knowledge of the impact of perinatal emotional health on high-risk families, as well as experience working in home-based, community, and outreach settings.

Additionally, you will have demonstrated practice based on respect for the values and rights of clients, self, and colleagues.

You will be able to work collaboratively and independently, manage your own workload, and take responsibility for work output within the Enhanced MCH team.
