Job DescriptionThis role requires an individual with a strong background in software engineering and experience working with Agile methodology. You will provide critical oversight and assurance to ensure that software elements are successfully delivered, meeting all relevant standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the development and support of JP9101 software elements in support of EDHFCS acquisition
- Providing governance to ensure EDHFCS software systems meet requirements through the acquisition process
- Developing, managing, and maintaining JP9101 software management artefacts across Acquisition, Support, and Legacy Support contracts
- Providing formal engineering advice to the JP9101 Engineering Manager regarding project software development and software management activities
- Collaborating with the wider JP9101 Team to provide software management input across all discipline streams and contracts
- Reviewing and providing software system feedback on contract deliverables to support the implementation of the EDHFCS solution
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Australian citizenship and a current NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance
- Experience in developing and reviewing technical/engineering artefacts and documentation
- Demonstrable experience in working with software development projects using Agile methodology in relation to platforms relevant to Defence combat systems
- Knowledge of High Frequency (HF) Communications, Telecommunications, and Networking is highly desirable
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
Nova Systems offers a competitive salary package, including:
- A generous estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
