About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Return to Work Coordinator to join our team at Collins Foods Limited. As a key member of our health and wellbeing team, you will play a critical role in supporting the rehabilitation and return to work of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert rehabilitation and injury management support to employees across Australia
  • Conduct workplace visits to develop return to work plans and ensure compliance with legislative requirements
  • Document and coordinate employee rehabilitation plans, working closely with injured employees, treating professionals, and line managers
  • Educate line managers on their roles and responsibilities in rehabilitation and ensure they are informed of employee progress
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement through identifying and actioning opportunities for improvement
Risk Management
  • Establish and maintain a network of external rehabilitation service providers who understand and support our rehabilitation program
  • Promote an efficient system for immediate reporting of injuries to enable early employee contact and reporting to the insurer
  • Ensure employees are informed of their entitlements and responsibilities and have access to appropriate information and resources
  • Maintain confidential rehabilitation records and manage the rehabilitation process in a sensitive manner
Results and Reporting
  • Keep accurate and objective case notes for each employee undertaking rehabilitation, meeting CFL specifications and state legislation requirements
  • Provide complete documentation to state government auditors and ensure compliance with legislative timelines
  • Maintain accurate data, ensure data integrity, and conduct regular data analysis to inform business improvements
  • Prepare monthly reports for key stakeholders
About You

We are looking for a candidate with national or multi-state experience in managing workers' compensation claims, managing claims and meeting legislative requirements under Qld self-insurance licence, and workplace rehabilitation experience with an evidence-based approach to proactive injury management.

You will have high-level data management skills, including accurate record keeping, data analysis, and reporting, and ensuring data integrity. You will also have experience in providing workplace-based rehabilitation and return to work.
