Culinary Team Leader

Job Description:

  • The team leader will oversee the culinary direction of patient room service.
  • Train, develop and schedule cooks in multiple positions.
  • Ensure efficient and timely food order fulfillment.
  • Directly manage patient service cooks and teams.
  • Collaborate with a team of chefs to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintain Sodexo culinary standards and recipe compliance.
  • Implement HACCP protocols and ensure food quality.
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules and maintain kitchen organization.
  • Engage directly with patients for food requests and feedback.

Key Skills:

  • Culinary professional with passion for culinary arts.
  • Production culinary background, preferably in a hospital or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading culinary teams and possessing human resource skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Servsafe protocols.
