About the Role:
At Warrigal, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to our ageing communities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' comfort and independence in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing person-centred care duties, including domestic cleaning, personal care, cooking, transport, social outings, shopping, home maintenance, and gardening.
- Working collaboratively with our customers, their families, and our team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Ensuring the highest quality care is delivered to our customers, adhering to our organisational values and standards.
Requirements:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or similar (desirable).
- Experience in aged or community care work.
- The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care duties.
- An empathy and commitment to the care of older people.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
- Current First Aid certificate or enrolled to obtain.
- Current Drivers Licence, a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance.

Onboarding:
If your application is successful, you will be required to commence employment to our three-day On-boarding Program. Our training is hosted by our internal clinical educators and will cover all things Warrigal. The essential skills that we cover will set you up for success that ensure our customers have the highest quality care.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including reference checks, pre-employment medical, a National Criminal History Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check & Qualification Check.
