About the Role

As a Senior Data Quality Analyst at REA Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, availability, and reliability of our property data pipelines and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality strategies for new data pipelines and APIs using data platforms such as Kafka, Flink, BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow/Breeze.
  • Monitor data quality and recommend improvement activities to drive team performance.
  • Identify, track, and remediate data quality issues to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Analyse and produce data coverage and quality statistics across internal and external data sets to provide visibility across multiple teams.
  • Champion quality software delivery from inception to deployment in collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
About You

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Quality Analyst who can drive data quality excellence across our property data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, expert problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A mix of data test automation and contract/service/API test automation experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in data testing and defining/implementing data quality strategies for multiple teams.
  • The ability to identify, analyse, and address problems to resolve data quality issues and suggest improvements in data quality processes.
  • Experience working with streaming data frameworks such as Kafka and Flink.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical business owners.
