School Counselling Professional

The School Counsellor plays a vital role in supporting students' emotional, social, and academic development. This position is responsible for providing psychological counselling to students individually and in groups using evidence-based interventions.
- Assess student needs and develop strategies to promote their wellbeing.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans as required.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to improve student outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or child/adolescent psychological practice.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, therapeutic interventions, and wellbeing practices in schools.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of whole-school wellbeing and pastoral programs. You will also engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to staff development on wellbeing and mental health.
