About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Underground Mining Professionals to work effectively within a team to meet safety and production targets.

The scope of your role will be to operate mining equipment to achieve production targets, ensuring they are met safely and efficiently.

Duties will include:

  • Operating mining equipment to achieve production targets
  • Demonstrating safe behaviours and practices
  • Ensuring all work is performed to site standards
  • Participating and completing on the job risk management
  • Participating in investigations as required

The Work Schedule:

This position is offered on a fixed roster of 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week (Day shift or Night Shift as required under the needs of the business).

About You:

We are looking for individuals with experience working in underground mining operations (ideally 12 months +) who possess underground competencies and abilities.

A strong commitment to achieving business objectives, effective communication and teamwork skills, and a focus on Health, Safety and Environment workplace standards are essential.

Reliability and a strong safety and risk management focus are also highly regarded.

Key Requirements:

You will need to have a strong understanding of mine operating procedures, health and safety protocols, and risk management strategies.

A background in mining operations, preferably longwall and development, would be highly beneficial.

Your ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times is paramount.
