About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Allied Health Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Clinical Services Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential allied health services to patients/clients within our local health network.

Salary Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, with hourly rates ranging from $34.04 to $36.28 per hour for AHA3 classification, and $29.57 to $31.81 per hour for AHA2 classification, plus 25% casual loading.

Job Description

As a Regional Allied Health Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced allied health professionals to provide vital assistance and support to our patients/clients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality allied health services, including:

  • Providing assistance to allied health professionals in the delivery of patient care
  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for patients
  • Implementing treatment programs and providing education to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on patient progress

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in an allied health setting, preferably in a regional area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
