About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced HSW professional to join our team as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor. This role will play a critical part in fostering a culture that prioritizes HSW across all Milwaukee business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture by empowering leaders with knowledge and guidance on proactive HSW practices.
  • Coach and guide leaders in best practice health, safety, and wellbeing management.
  • Build relationships and provide operational advice, support, coaching, and guidance to Leaders.
  • Provide advice, interpretation, and guidance on the application of the HSW Management System, legislative requirements, and leading practices.
  • Identify gaps and determine, prioritize, evaluate, and recommend solutions aligned with Milwaukee's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the business to identify, elaborate, and drive improvements and integration of the HSWMS.
  • Contribute to HSW governance and reporting.

About You

You'll have a Cert IV in WHS combined with solid working experience of Model WHS Act, Codes of Conduct, and Regulations. A minimum 3 years' experience in delivering HSW advice and service is required, along with relevant industry experience and the following attributes:

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to import knowledge and coach others.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes to win-win positions.
  • A sound understanding of ANZ Workcover and related requirements is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in various MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
