Job Description:

The Swim Instructor Leader will oversee the coordination and supervision of swim teachers at our facility. This role involves working closely with local community groups to provide a welcoming environment for new members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise swim teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and member safety
  • Liaise with local community groups to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Welcome new members and assess their ability to participate in swimming classes
  • Deliver engaging and motivating swimming classes that cater to diverse age groups and abilities
  • Safeguard members during swimming classes and make informed decisions to prevent accidents
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of swim teaching principles and water safety protocols
  • Ability to manage diverse age groups and abilities in an aquatic setting
  • Proven interpersonal skills for effective communication with members, parents, and community partners
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Swim Teacher certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Blue Card clearance
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check (NDISWC) registration
