Join Our Team as a QC Microbiology Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Microbiology Manager to join our team at 1G0 Hospira Australia Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Control Microbiology function, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Quality Control Microbiology team, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement quality systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize quality performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMP and cGMP standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, training programs, and quality records.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and investigate quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control, with a strong background in microbiology and GMP compliance.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and investigate quality issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
