About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescriptions and inpatient medicines for checking by a pharmacist
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of pharmaceuticals, consumables, and stationery
  • Undertake expiry date checking and rotation of stock
  • Accurately complete paperwork from prescriptions to enable PBS claiming

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) course or equivalent awarded by a registered Training Organisation or as approved by the Pharmacy Board of Victoria
  • Computer knowledge and skill
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Displayed ability to work as a member of a team
  • Current national criminal history check, or willingness to obtain
