Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Visualiser at a renowned animation studio, you will play a pivotal role in creating 2D visualisations that bring stories to life. This includes working closely with directors, producers and animators to ensure that every frame meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

  • Deliver high-quality 2D visualisations on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with directors, producers and animators to develop creative concepts and visual styles
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of storylines, characters and settings to ensure accurate and engaging visuals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
  • Effectively communicate ideas and feedback to team members and stakeholders
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong drawing and painting skills, with experience in traditional media such as watercolour and ink
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Knowledge of colour theory, composition and lighting principles
  • Experience with motion graphics software such as After Effects
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3D animation software such as Maya or Blender
  • Basic programming skills, particularly in Python or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Asana or Trello
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
