KU Children's Services is seeking a skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health Program.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working in a multidisciplinary team, providing early intervention services to children aged birth to 7 years across NSW and Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with families, carers, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualised plans to support children's developmental needs
  • Administer and score a range of assessments, including speech and language evaluations
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to families, schools, and other relevant parties
Requirements
  • Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
