About the Role

We are seeking Occupational Therapists to provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants across the lifespan in Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas.

Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered. As an Occupational Therapist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same.

  • You will work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres, utilizing an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment.
  • Create therapy plans and provide life-changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
  • Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals.
  • Build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
  • Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
  • Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.
What We Offer

Competitive Salary Package: Attractive remuneration ($80,000 - $110,000 per annum based on experience), plus additional benefits such as vehicle options, laptop, phone, and performance and loyalty bonuses.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • General AHPRA Registration.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Childrens Check.
  • Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential.
