Senior Database Administrator and Systems Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator and Systems Programmer to join our Health Solutions Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering essential database support for the design, development, and maintenance of key solutions using Informix and Microsoft SQL.
Key Responsibilities- Perform programming and application support relevant to database technologies and systems integration for supported environments
- Act as a technical escalation point and provide Level 2 customer support, troubleshooting and resolving database problems
- Oversee, respond to, and report on environmental metrics (both application and platform) in alignment with established customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) pertaining to availability, performance, and capacity
- Join the on-call support team to address incidents that occur outside regular working hours and during public holidays
- Have a solid background in Database Administration, particularly with Informix Server or MS SQL Server
- Hands-on experience in maintaining Informix and 4GL solutions
- Proficient in shell scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell) along with application development, debugging, and troubleshooting expertise
- Skilled in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), leveraging native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Familiarity with Linux Server environments (SuSE, RedHat) platforms
