About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security - Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop, implement and manage information security governance, risk management and compliance programs.
- The role requires a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, as well as the ability to proactively identify and mitigate cyber risks.
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in information security with a strong GRC focus is required.
- You should have hands-on delivery experience of developing and implementing security policies, standards and procedures.
- A solid understanding of common information security frameworks (e.g., AESCSF, ISO 27001, Essential Eight) and Australian cybersecurity regulations (e.g., Privacy Act 1988, CPS 234) is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills and the ability to work independently and in a team are also necessary.
