About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Assistant to join our KinCare team in Wyong. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and healthy living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, helping our customers maintain their independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, enhancing the overall well-being of our customers.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mobility and therapy goals, to help our customers maintain their dignity and independence.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.

Requirements:

  • You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle.
  • You should be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
  • You should be available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
