Job Description:

The Sponsor Coverage professional will play a pivotal role in the expansion of the team and will support ongoing portfolio management of clients within Singapore and the broader APAC region where required.

This support will be critical to their role, with a core focus on customer servicing and risk management strategies.

  • Prepare pitches and discussion materials to facilitate thematic dialogue, origination of M&A financing mandates and strategic dialogue with financial sponsors.
  • Support senior team members in dialogues of financing transactions (structuring, valuation analysis, peer analysis).
  • Coordinate relationships with Financial Sponsor clients across Private Equity, Infra, Real Estate.
  • Ensure coordination with different sponsor relationship teams including FI, LAF and Sector Coverage teams.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience at a leading financial institution.
  • Undergraduate degree in a business related field.
  • Experience in debt transactions, developing presentations and, preferably, a focus on leveraged and acquisition finance, relevant knowledge of financial sponsors.
  • Strong credit base with excellent financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, and strong skills in financial modelling.
  • Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets.
  • Ability to engage in independent research and analysis of customers and markets and apply critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Self-starter with drive and enthusiasm.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across various work streams and alongside stakeholders.
