Project Quality Management is a crucial aspect of delivering high-quality construction projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Quality Manager to join our team in Canberra. This role involves managing the quality functions for a long-term project, ensuring that all works meet specified quality requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing the project quality management plan, coordinating quality planning activities, and establishing project QA audit schedules. They will also conduct audits, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  • Develop and implement effective quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to audit suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure they meet quality requirements.
  • Monitor ITP approval, measuring and test equipment, document and drawing control, and completion of construction quality records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage the project quality management plan.
  • Coordinate quality planning activities and establish project QA audit schedules.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports.
  • Implement corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Government security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • 5+ years' experience in quality assurance engineering or management, preferably in construction or civil infrastructure.
  • Experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in managing quality.
  • Ability to continuously evaluate and refine quality control processes.
