About this role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily life activities of children and young people in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include cooking, cleaning, and school drop-offs, as well as providing genuine care and emotional support to help them rebuild their lives and believe in brighter futures.
You will work collaboratively with a passionate and close-knit team to deliver high-quality care and services, ensuring that every young person feels safe, stable, and supported.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care) or other similar tertiary qualifications;
- A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing;
- The ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding for young people in our care in an open-minded and non-judgmental manner;
- Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation and setting consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability, and consistency.
