Machining Specialist for Production Line

Salary: The salary for this position is expected to be between $65,000 and $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a highly competitive remuneration package that reflects the skills and qualifications required for this role.
Job Description: As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting, programming, and preparing jobs on CNC Lathes and machining centres. You will also be working with software and hardware, conducting tests and inspections of products, services, and software systems, and repairing faulty programs and machinery. Your strong analytical, communication, and computer skills will be essential in this role, as well as your ability to read and understand production/CAD drawings and maintain clear and honest communication at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist, as well as 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly. A recognised apprenticeship may be required. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills are also essential, as well as an understanding of mathematics and ethical behaviour.
Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include writing and interpreting instructions and procedures to assemble equipment and products accurately, getting information from all relevant sources, and controlling machines and processes. You will also be performing inspections of equipment, structures, materials, and products, and maintaining clear and honest communication at all times.
