
Protective Casework Advocate

Role Overview- As a dedicated Child Safeguarder, you will work collaboratively with families, community members, and social service providers.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify risks and develop tailored strategies for supporting family stability and child safety.
- Develop and implement case plans, providing expert guidance on risk management, crisis intervention, and resource allocation.
- Engage in rigorous communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and other government agencies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, prioritizing empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of disadvantaged youth and promoting long-term resilience within affected families.
Essential Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Substantial experience working with at-risk populations, preferably in a child welfare setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and navigate complex legal procedures.
- Valid driver's license and paid Working with Children check.
- Assist families in developing safety plans and conducting regular home visits to monitor progress.
- Collaborate with court teams to prepare documents and provide testimony as required.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and promote organizational excellence.
