Role Overview
  • As a dedicated Child Safeguarder, you will work collaboratively with families, community members, and social service providers.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify risks and develop tailored strategies for supporting family stability and child safety.
  • Develop and implement case plans, providing expert guidance on risk management, crisis intervention, and resource allocation.
  • Engage in rigorous communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and other government agencies.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, prioritizing empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of disadvantaged youth and promoting long-term resilience within affected families.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience working with at-risk populations, preferably in a child welfare setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and navigate complex legal procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and paid Working with Children check.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist families in developing safety plans and conducting regular home visits to monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with court teams to prepare documents and provide testimony as required.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and promote organizational excellence.
