Warehouse Operator Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our warehouse.

  • Pallet Jack Operation: You will be operating pallet jacks to move stock around the warehouse.
  • Forklift operation: You will be operating forklifts to lift and move heavy loads.
  • Pick/pack stock from order sheets (English comprehension required): You will be picking and packing stock according to customer orders.
  • Sorting and scanning stock: You will be sorting and scanning stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Loading and unloading containers: You will be loading and unloading containers to facilitate the movement of goods.
  • Hygiene and cleaning duties: You will be maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Licence to operate a LF Forklift: You must hold a valid licence to operate a low-level forklift.
  • Full vaccination: You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Competent computer and communication skills: You must have basic computer skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work up to 8 hours per day in a physically demanding role: You must be able to work long hours in a physically demanding environment.
