Research Integrity and Quality Officer

Griffith University is seeking a highly skilled Research Integrity and Quality Officer to join our Office for Research. As a key member of the Research Ethics, Integrity and Governance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the conduct of high-quality research and promoting a responsible research culture at Griffith.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, research experience, and a strong understanding of research methodologies and regulatory compliance. You will be able to analyze research protocols, identify potential integrity issues, and propose solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively convey complex regulatory information and collaborate with researchers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement University policies, processes, and procedures to promote the responsible conduct of research and support the Griffith Research Quality Framework.
- Manage research integrity complaints, including receipt, initial evaluation, assessment, and investigation as required, through to effective resolution, and compliance with corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training programs, materials, and support tools to support the activities of the research ethics, integrity, and governance team.
- Provide advice to institutional staff and HDR candidates about practices that support the conduct of trustworthy and high-quality research at Griffith.
