Lead Clinical Role

Bupa is seeking an experienced senior doctor to take on a leadership role in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) health services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality care is delivered across ADF Health Services.

The role requires strong leadership and influencing skills, as well as experience in clinical governance, quality, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the ADF environment and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight of ADF Health Services Contract
  • Represent Bupa at the highest level of clinical leadership within Bupa and with clients
  • Support ADF Leadership Team with expert clinical advice to embed quality care
  • Act as nominated incident manager for clinical complaints and incidents
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and collaborate with stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
  • Extensive experience in clinical governance, quality, and risk management
  • In-depth understanding of ADF environment
  • Proven capability in leading clinical improvement initiatives
  • Australian citizenship
