About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our multidisciplinary team as an Intake Clinician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation of mental health needs in young people aged 12-25 years. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to achieve better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, intervention, or group work as required.
  • Participate in the provision of appropriate mental health education programs for health professionals, community-based services, and community groups.
  • Liaise with senior staff to monitor and manage client pathways.

Requirements:

  • Must have General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a superior understanding within the continuum of care.
  • Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising high-level communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team, as well as government and other non-government service providers.
