Are you a skilled professional seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a Deputy Contract Manager to join our Defence Leadership Group, where you will play a pivotal role in the operational management of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day service delivery to meet profit, compliance, and quality targets
  • Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate and support workforce recruitment, onboarding, and engagement initiatives
  • Oversee contract administration, reporting, and compliance activities
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive innovation, process improvements, and cost optimisation opportunities

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by working on unique and impactful Defence projects, leveraging your skills across various core capabilities, including Health, Defence, Maritime, Justice, Immigration, and Community Services.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of maritime operations and environments
  • Experience in contract management or Defence industry roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of contract law, governance, finance, and risk analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
