You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical integrity of systems being delivered to the Australian Defence Force.

As a System Integration Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting hands-on integration and deployment of Electronic Architecture systems in our laboratory and onto prototype land platforms.
  • Performing light manufacturing, repair, and modification of systems within assigned technical authority.
  • Supporting verification and validation activities and gathering quality evidence for certification.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of test plans, trial instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Providing technical input to supervisors and reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Travel may be required to subcontractor and test locations (domestic and international).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A trade certification in Electronics, Electrical, Fitter/Turner, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in electrical/electronic integration, RF systems, cabling, soldering, and troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience in Defence or working to military standards is highly desirable.
  • A strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
