Education and Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Education and Training Specialist to develop, deliver, coordinate, and facilitate education programs that enhance our services.

The primary goal is to ensure participants acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver accredited and non-accredited education programs
  • Provide expert subject matter knowledge and ensure resources are current and of the highest standard
  • Coordinate and facilitate education programs

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in bereavement counselling with at least 5 years as a counsellor and 2 years teaching at tertiary level or within an RTO
  2. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtain it
  3. Membership of a relevant professional association, such as the AASW or APS
  4. Strong understanding of grief and bereavement literature and evidence-based practice

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and theory

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Counselling or related field
  • Relevant industry certifications and training
