You will play a pivotal part in our company's mission to promote environmentally responsible practices across the industry. As a key member of our global network, you'll collaborate with colleagues worldwide to drive sustainable logistics solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an individual with exceptional organizational skills to oversee overall logistics planning, coordinate shipping arrangements, and expedite activities.
  • Achieving on-time delivery requirements is crucial; we need someone who can forward plan effectively.
  • Liaising with suppliers, Logistics Service Providers, and Order Management Teams for quotations and freight options/solutions.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation are critical components of this role.
  • Optimizing freight spend is essential to our business's success.
  • Working closely with our global transportation framework agreements.
  • Responding to Order Management enquiries promptly.
  • Expediting and tracking shipments efficiently.
  • Submission of pre-alert documents for inbound shipments accurately.
  • Mitigating customs duty and utilizing freight concessions.
  • Preparation and dissemination of inbound shipment reporting.
  • Checking and processing freight invoices meticulously.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar logistics role.
  • Working knowledge of international and domestic transport, customs, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Desirable:

  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
