Head of Renewable Energy Infrastructure Development

Our organisation seeks a visionary leader to spearhead the development and implementation of our renewable energy infrastructure programme. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Western Australia's clean energy landscape, driving innovation and collaboration across government, regulators, and industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the strategic vision for transmission expansion and ensuring alignment with state and federal energy and emissions goals.
  • Leading the orchestration of complex, large-scale transmission projects that will power WA for decades.
  • Securing funding and influencing policy through engagement with government, regulators, and industry.
  • Overseeing portfolio optimisation and assurance to ensure programmes are delivered on time, on budget, and compliant.
  • BUILDING AND INSPIRING HIGH-PERFORMING TEAMS TO DRIVE A CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE, INNOVATION, AND COLLABORATION.

What you'll bring

  • Proven leadership in delivering large-scale transmission or generation infrastructure projects.
  • Strategic capability to navigate complexity, shape policy, and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of decarbonisation drivers, electricity markets, and infrastructure delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills – from boardrooms to project teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields (postgraduate highly regarded).
