Job Description:

The Senior Billing Lead will oversee the billing function, ensuring accurate and timely billing for all funded services. This role involves maintaining thorough understanding of funding arrangements, keeping abreast of changes and updates, and overseeing the billing process within Melba.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all funding frameworks and requirements.
  • Monitor and manage payment cycles for NDIS and other funding streams.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements surrounding NDIS funding and billing arrangements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct allocation of funding and accurate billing.
  • Analyse billing trends and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation.
Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of funding frameworks, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing and compliance, and be able to provide guidance and training to team members.
