Pest Control Technician Trainee Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Pest Control Technician Trainee. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for the pest control industry and be eager to learn and develop their skills in this field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced technicians in performing termite inspections, pre-purchase pest inspections, and general pest treatments.
  • Install pre-construction termite barrier systems to new home builds and renovations.
  • Carry out regular monitoring of termite systems and identify general pests.
  • Complete termite inspections (TIR) and pre-purchase pest inspections (PPI).
  • Identify termites and carry out appropriate termite treatments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
  • A current driver's licence is required.
  • A clean police check is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and outdoors.
