**Role Summary**

We are seeking a diligent Corrections Specialist to manage consumer and commercial correction requests. The successful candidate will investigate and resolve these requests, making relevant amendments to our database and providing written responses to customers and stakeholders.

This role requires exceptional analytical skills to ensure all complaints are handled effectively and promptly, treating all parties with courtesy and respect.

The ideal candidate will assess whether customer complaints need to be escalated to senior representatives, management, or legal/compliance teams to minimize risk.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Investigate and resolve consumer and commercial correction requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of corrections made.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate customer complaints and determine necessary escalation.

Main Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the financial services or collection industry is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain impartial and professional at all times.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Capacity to work independently and self-manage proactively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Compliance mindset.
  • Able to maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Privacy Act and Credit Reporting code.
  • Knowledge of credit management and finance industry.
