About the Role

This trainee position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about mechanics and want to gain valuable experience in the hydraulics trade. You will assist in building and maintaining equipment, test hydraulic systems, and reach the required level of competence in welding and machining. Additionally, you will commit to completing the trade school portion of the relevant apprenticeship.

  • Assist in building and maintenance related activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times.
  • Build hydraulic assemblies to the required standard under the guidance of colleagues.
  • Reach the required level of competence in welding and machining.
  • Test hydraulic systems to ensure functionality requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be:

  • Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Completed high school years 10, 11, or 12.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good numerical skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • A good listener willing to learn.
