Role Description

Business is booming and we are currently looking for Apprentices or Trainees to work at either our Clyde or Blacktown branches.

This role sees you using your automotive or mechanical skills (fitting/machining, welding, plant mechanic etc ) to deliver a high-quality hose repair service to our customers. There is lots of variety in the role as you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing operational maintenance of machines, overhauling/repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment along with much more.

Just starting out in the industry/workforce and don’t have qualifications? No problem We also have opportunities to complete the Cert 2, 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering through the Hydraulink Training Academy - earn as you gain your qualifications

PLUS - once you are trained and out in the field (yes you are out in the field - not stuck inside a workshop all the time) you will be put onto a roster for after-hours callouts which gives you the opportunity to DOUBLE your wage

Current Manual Driver’s License

Live within a reasonable distance of the business

An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices

Maintain neat and tidy dress and appearance in line with Dress Code Policy

Preferred Skills

White card

Hydraulic or Mechanical background

An understanding of customer service

Experience manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies

A knowledge of the industry or a similar type

Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
