We are in search of a Solutions Architect to enhance our Applications and Data team, focusing on the design and implementation of a robust, future-oriented Workday Architecture. This role transcends traditional boundaries, positioning you at the forefront of architecting and delivering Workday solutions that resonate with Aurecon's IT and business objectives. You will work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine processes, enhance system capabilities, and improve user satisfaction. Furthermore, you will take ownership of the Workday suite strategy and roadmaps, effectively communicating and advocating for strategic initiatives to stakeholders.
What responsibilities will you undertake to drive innovation?
- Design and implement integrated Workday solutions that adhere to best practices and meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and lead the strategy and roadmaps for the Workday suite, ensuring clear communication of strategic outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, to deliver a comprehensive Workday suite roadmap that facilitates the transition to a target state while providing insights for optimal Workday utilization.
- Create high-level and detailed architectural artifacts for solutions, securing their endorsement through the architecture review process, and ensuring adherence during implementation.
- Ensure that solutions align with strategic technology roadmaps and existing design principles.
- Focus on architectural decisions and their implications for the current IT environment, minimizing unnecessary technical debt.
- Provide technical guidance on Workday to Application Development, Integration, Support, and Project Delivery teams.

What qualifications are we seeking?
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem-solving and continuous learning. Your diverse experiences and collaborative spirit will be valued at Aurecon. You should possess:
- A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing Workday solutions, particularly in Professional Services Automation, Finance, and Human Capital Management.
- Experience in large, complex organizations, working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Proficiency in eliciting and analyzing business requirements to design effective technical solutions.
- Experience with Workday Integration Cloud for application and data integration guidance.
- Relevant Workday certifications (PSA accreditation is a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
