Role Overview

The Acoustic Strategy & Standards Manager will lead advocacy efforts to improve regulations and guidelines for acoustic environments in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation, advocacy, and education to strengthen the product offering across commercial interiors, education, healthcare, and workplace environments.
  • Benchmark Australian standards against international frameworks (ISO, BB93, NZ Education) to inform product development and advocacy.
  • Provide expert insights to guide marketing, sales, and product development teams.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Acoustics Engineering (essential).
  • A proven track record engaging with governmental bodies and technical committees to shape acoustic regulations.
  • Experience with international standards development (ISO, BB93, EU frameworks).
  • Strong communication skills – able to translate complex acoustics into practical solutions for architects, designers, and clients.
  • Thought leadership – someone who is a go-to expert, equally comfortable writing technical papers or presenting on stage.
