About This Opportunity

This is an exciting role with a dynamic organisation specialising in the construction industry.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled accountant to prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements, manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning activities, collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making, assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and support the year-end audit process by liaising with external auditors.

Key Performance Indicators

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function, managing cash flow, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need CA/CPA qualifications (or part-qualified), good technical skills, either a commercial or audit background, a growth mindset and willingness to learn, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to tasks. You will also need the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
