Senior Finance Analyst

Job Overview:

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to shape financial strategies that drive informed decision-making across the University. Enjoy autonomy and collaboration in a role that combines analytical depth with stakeholder engagement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing financial models and conducting analysis to support strategic decision-making by key stakeholders.
  • Providing financial modelling for business case feasibility studies, including discounted cash flow analysis, net present value, and internal rate of return calculations.
  • Creating and delivering presentations and data visualisation dashboards to enhance stakeholder understanding of financial insights.
  • Maintaining clear and transferable model documentation for use across the University.
  • Building and sustaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and management personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications, CA/CPA (or equivalent) accreditation, combined with extensive relevant experience.
  • Strong background in financial reporting using complex accounting systems and large datasets, with proficiency in analytical and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to create impactful data visualisations tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conceptual skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
