About the Role:

  • Lead a team of quality professionals in an office or project setting to ensure seamless collaboration and effective decision-making.
  • Conduct research and development on complex quality projects, leveraging innovative approaches to drive business growth.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge to ensure successful project completion, staying within budget and meeting customer expectations.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities to ensure they meet product/service requirements, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Analyze and plan methods to solve complex technical problems, contributing to the refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.
  • Act as a liaison with suppliers to establish or modify specifications for purchased items, fostering strong relationships.
  • Develop and apply testing procedures for components from outside vendors, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Recommend corrective actions for quality issues, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant specialization, including leadership roles.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and integrated software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, adjudicated or PR within the last four years.
  • Position may require travel, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
