Senior Quality Director

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance expert to oversee the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processing materials into finished products. If you have a passion for quality and a drive for excellence, we invite you to consider this opportunity.
About the Role- You will manage a team of quality professionals in an office or project setting, utilizing your leadership skills to drive success.
- Plan and conduct research and development on complex quality projects, employing innovative approaches to ensure successful outcomes.
- Utilize advanced knowledge to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and company standards while staying within budget constraints.
- Develop and implement quality strategies to enhance organizational performance and productivity.
- Conduct thorough investigations and tests of significant complexity, reviewing processes and evaluating results to inform data-driven decisions.
- Analyze vendor capabilities to ensure they meet product/service requirements, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions.
- Serve as a liaison with suppliers to establish or modify specifications for purchased items, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and support to drive business growth.
- Liaise with engineers, technicians, and inspectors to offer expert advice and recommendations on quality-related matters.
- Recommend corrective actions for quality issues, working closely with teams to implement resolutions and prevent future occurrences.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant specialization, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Lead Auditor or Auditor Certification is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and integrated software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, adjudicated or PR within the last four years.
