About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team at Arkose Labs. As a Senior Technical Artist, you will play a critical role in developing state-of-the-art captcha challenges that protect our clients' services from automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and develop captcha challenges using Blender and Python to generate images at scale.
  • Work with the team to design and implement captcha challenges that are effective against automation.
  • Collaborate with the machine learning team to validate the strength of captcha challenges against automation.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools to improve the efficiency of captcha challenge development and deployment.
  • Work with the team to innovate and improve captcha challenge design and development processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with 3D software, including at least 2 years of experience with Blender.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Artist.
  • Proven competency in working with Python, with a coding portfolio highly regarded.
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with asset management tools, such as Perforce, Plastic SCM, or GitHub.
  • Drive to create internal tooling and automation to improve processes.
  • A quality-driven mindset.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in cyber security.
  • Degree or experience in Games Design, 3D Animation, or equivalent.
  • Game concept prototyping/POCs.
  • 3D modeling and sculpting skills in ZBrush or Blender.
  • Experience with scripting inside of Blender.
  • Javascript experience.
  • Html and CSS experience.
  • Data interpretation and validation skills.
  • User experience testing experience.
  • Experience with machine learning/vision.
  • Illustration skills.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Familiarity with AWS (S3, DynamoDB).
  • Experience communicating with customers.
