About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team at Arkose Labs Inc. as a Captcha Challenge Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing state-of-the-art captcha challenges using Blender and Python to generate images at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop captcha challenges that are resistant to automation and solvable by humans
  • Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and develop new captcha challenge ideas
  • Use Python to generate images at scale and optimize challenge performance
  • Test and validate captcha challenges using machine learning tools and human testing
  • Develop internal tools and automation to improve processes and increase productivity
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with 3D software, including at least 2 years with Blender
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Artist
  • Proven competency in working with Python and a coding portfolio
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with asset management tools, such as Perforce or Plastic SCM
  • Drive to create internal tooling and automation to improve processes
  • A quality-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in cyber security
  • Degree or experience in Games Design, 3D Animation, or equivalent
  • Game concept prototyping and POCs
  • 3D modeling and sculpting skills with ZBrush or Blender
  • Experience with scripting inside of Blender
  • HTML and CSS skills
  • Data interpretation and validation skills
  • User experience testing skills
  • Experience with machine learning and vision
  • Experience with Jira
  • Familiarity with AWS (S3, DynamoDB)
  • Experience communicating with customers
